In the New York Times last Thursday, August 5th, Bruce Springsteen (childhood musical influence) wrote a letter on the op-ed page. He writes that he has, ” for the last 25 years I have always stayed one step away from partisan politics” but that now, “for many of us the stakes have risen too high to sit this election out.” It’s a short, well-written letter about how he will be performing to affect the vote.
