Friedman's comments regarding the sporting of little American flags on our lapels in solidarity with the troops while besmirching every value for which they're allegedly defending and dying, reminds me of <a href="http://iddybud.blogspot.com/2004_11_26_iddybud_archive.html#110148585897005755">my own Thanksgiving post,</a> where I compared the US government's willing/active support of the Ukrainian reformists to their simultaneous accusations of 'paranoia' hurled toward us here at home for doubting the circumstances surrounding our own shady election. And, like your final wish, I had said:<i>"Sitting here this Thanksgiving, I truly wish I could say that I believe the American promise has been fulfilled for all of its own people.
